Our 75th Anniversary — 2007

Sunday, 25th March 2007, at the Botley Masonic Centre.  It was attended by W Bro Roger Bricknell, Assistant PGM, and the overall attendance was fair.  Over £1000 was raised for charity,  which was shared between Naomi House and McMillan's Nurses.

To mark this great occasion for the Lodge, W Bro Roy Baker put together a Lodge history which took the reader through the years and landmarks, including the War years, depression, and other significant events which added a real local flavour for the reader to savour.  The full Lodge History can be read here.

Stewards Festival — 2007.  We started this festival after Bro Andy Lupton proposed the idea.  After some hard work by himself and some senior members of the Lodge, everyone taking part in the event were made ready.  The night itself was well attended by many visitors, who enjoyed a great performance by Bro Alf Tattersall as WM for the night.  The whole ceremony was of a very good standard, and a benchmark has been set for future years.  It is hoped that this will become an annual event.  In addition, it is hoped that word will spread, and that more members will bring more guests in support of the future festivals.   For more information on our Stewards Festival, please contact our Lodge Secretary.
